My Review of Your Something Blue
☆☆☆☆☆
Ahhh wow. I loved this story SO much! Sweet, charming, and just the right amount of slow-burn vibes to keep me quite invested. Morgan and Will may start off with a bad impression, but it’s hard to ignore the chemistry between them. XD
The writing style to me was a little dry/telling a lot, but I had no problem imagining the setting and filling in details that were skimmed over. This story is rather short—I read it in an hour and a half, so I feel like it could have been a bit longer and fleshed out the story a bit more pacing-wise.
But other than that, I loved it so much! Content Warnings are very few; some light kissing and that’s it.
If you read this story, be prepared for some giggles at the outright cuteness of Morgan and Will, as well as their well-meaning matchmakers! XD
My Review of The Golden Hour
☆☆☆☆☆
It’s been a week or so since I read Golden Hour, but the VIBES are still with me! Autumn vibes, sweet enemies-to-friends-to-lovers romance, and a certain amount of *COME ON realize you like him already* are quite clear in my mind. XD
Emma and Bryson used to be best friends, but that was before. Before the incident that landed Emma blocking her best friend’s number and not seeing or speaking to him for three years. But he’s back—and confused. Why is she still holding a grudge for something so small? But he doesn’t have all the details . . . and she doesn’t either.
My one complaint is that it felt like a little bit of communication would have cleared everything up from the beginning. XD But of course there has to be a story, so if you’re willing to overlook the slightly overdone miscommunication, this is an AMAZING story.
But oh my goodness the vibes! I LOVE autumn stories, and this one was perfect to read in October as the fall colors are changing and fall is in the air! This is a sweet, clean romance and I have no content warnings other than some kissing. Go read this story!
